Backend Developer – IGDSJP#044

About the role

We are looking for Backend Developers with deep understanding of prevalent design patterns and advanced system designing. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the server-side web application logic as well as for the integration of the frontend part. You should have senior level experience (~3 years) building scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed backend services.

You will work on a variety of projects, mostly around the core IGDS products. As our new teammate, you’ll be self-driven and work hard to bring value to your new company in the most effective way possible. You’ll work hard to make those around you better, communicate clearly, and make IGDS a better company.

Job requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in python OR node.
• Proficiency in any one of the frameworks – Feather JS or Express JS.
• Expert knowledge in creating REST API’s.
• Familiarity with ORM (object relational mapper) and database queries.
• Able to integrate databases (postgres, mysql, mongodb).
• Experience in deploying applications to GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.
• Experience in optimizing applications for speed and scalability.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented person who loves to collaborate and communicate.
