Lead Developer – IGDSJP#051

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Developer with deep understanding of frontend/web technologies (ReactJs, scss, styling) and best practices when it comes to frontend/web development. You should have senior level experience (~5 years) building modern frontend systems, with at least 3 years of that experience using react.

You will work on a variety of projects, mostly around the core IGDS products. As our new teammate, you’ll be self-driven and work hard to bring value to your new company in the most effective way possible. You’ll work hard to make those around you better, communicate clearly, and make IGDS a better company.

Job requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend/web development.
• Expertise in javascript, typescript, react.
• Wide frontend skills (design implementation, BEM, scss).
• Proficient in any of the popular UI frameworks such as bootstrap, tailwind or material UI.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs/GraphQL.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented person who loves to collaborate and communicate.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the specifications, design, development, and maintenance.
• Play leading role in supporting enhancing design and architecture.
• Assemble prototypes and evaluate POC.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Mentor and support team members as required in terms of technology and work to deliver tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and/or technologies simultaneously.
