QA Engineer – IGDSJP#046

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills and should be able to collaborate with multiple people in a project, making it imperative to possess the ability to hold the unit together and grow.

You will work on a variety of projects, mostly around the core IGDS products. As our new teammate, you’ll be self-driven and work hard to bring value to your new company in the most effective way possible. You’ll work hard to make those around you better, communicate clearly, and make IGDS a better company.   

Job requirements

• 4+ years of quality assurance experience in Agile/Scrum Development environments.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing. 
• Understanding of SQL Scripts and able to write SQL to work with various databases. 
• At least 1+ years of experience in mobile application testing and development.
• Working knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented person who loves to collaborate and communicate.
